Gobblin has been elected as the third Crown Prince in the first change of leadership since the nation was born, following the untimely death of BritishWanderer II.
After three long rounds of voting, the six dukes elected Gobblin, the Duke of Windermere, with four votes.
The Duke of Lugano, Creepion, narrowly missed out on the top spot after one of his supporters’ votes switched to Gobblin.
The office has until now been held by the House of Wanderer, who did not field a candidate in this election.
In a message to the Royal Court seen by the Tribune, Gobblin thanked the dukes for entrusting him with the role.
“I will lay out my plans in the coming days but my primary goal and focus is to build as much of the city as we can and join our neighbours by road and rail”, he said.
“I invite all dukes to be involved in diplomacy and put forward their ideas on Pavia’s future.”
The vote was held by the state tabulator after BritishWanderer II died during dice day which was celebrated by the dukes a day earlier.
