Pavia has gone into mourning over the death of the first Crown Prince, BritishWanderer, following a traditional ritual among the dukes.
Adorning themselves in black clothing and flying all flags at half mast, the people of Pavia are in the short period of despair following the ducal ceremony being held for the first time on the country’s land.
Every six weeks, the dukes come together to decide the continued leadership of the state.
After today’s rites, the dukes will vote to elect a new Crown Prince.
Citizens remember first rule
Having been the first Crown Prince, his grace BritishWanderer the Duke of Bedford is being remembered for his pivotal role in establishing Pavia.

He found the land on which Pavia has settled, was the first person in the Lyrean Sea and was the key player in creating the Lyrean Community which brought together likeminded and nearby neighbours.
But he also took strong steps to safeguard the security of Pavia, establishing the coast guard and creating a network of security posts across the entire landholdings of Pavia.
A new Crown Prince is expected to be sworn in tomorrow.
The Crown Prince is dead.
May he rest in peace.
Long live Pavia.
